Results of 4 Way Interclub

   4 Way Inter Club, part 1 PDI

Clubs take part in this completion which is spread over 2 legs, the first Pdi (November) and Print (February
Harry McAtominey welcomed all guests to the Zoom meeting and David Brown gave us a brief introduction to the rules and the judge for the night George Ledger from Consett Photographic Society, an accomplished sports photographer.
George introduced himself and explained that he enjoyed looking at and judging all the images in the competion.
The overall results;-


    Gosforth.          1st place with 249 points
    Cramlington     2nd place with 228 points
    Morpeth            3rd place with 212 points
    Gateshead        4th place with 203 points

So still an opportunity to improve with the print leg in 2022.

Alec Cowley’s “Sleeping on the job” 27 ( nice color’s, showed tension, well processed)
Bill Stephens, “Well Read” 22 (good set up, lighting well done, good props)
Bob Finlay, “Joey” 20 (good subject, stark image, blurring of tattoos, nice contrast)
Paul Dunn, “Lindisfarne Icons” 23 (good strong composition, good sky, good balance)
Paul Kidd, “Five Minute Warning”26, (nice viewpoint, good horizon, clouds a bonus)
Colin Livingstone, “Splash” 21 (splash on face, catching the shot, shutter speed)
Pauline Wilson, “Pink Rose” 22 (well controlled light, great DOF, lovely subject)
Jim Meikle, “Green Frog on Cala Lily” 20 (black background, contrast, crop?)
Colin Livingstone, “No 825” 22 (wanted more background, good colour and sky)
Paul Kidd, “King for a Reason” 25 (liked the pose, story telling, different crop?)
