Tonight we held a PDI battle and there were 55 images submitted for members to pick from. These were from a very wide range of subjects.
The two images that reached the final were Dragonfly by Abbie Moore and Eagle Eye by Adam Burness. The winner was Dragonfly. Well done Abbie! The images can be viewed clicking here Hi all,
Happy new year and I hope you are well. As most will know I’m coming off the committee at the end of the season. The reason I’m stepping down is I intend to push my own paid hobby ( kidd’s Photography) into a small business so I will be concentrating on that aspect. This will leave my position as programme Secretary open to all. I can help with the transition for a very short time if someone comes forward and shows an interest before the season ends. The role does involve a bit of work initially to get the programme organised and involves contacting people such as judges and arranging speakers etc, but then it’s easy for the rest of the season, so plenty of time to organise and spread the work for the following seasons events. Don’t forget you will also have help and advice from the rest of the committee. I’m happy to discuss this with anyone who may be interested. Thank you Paul Kidd. |
