Well! Its that time of the year again folks. The 'Hoppings' has come to town and so that's where our walkabout will be this Thursday. Tripods at the ready to capture those colourful spinning light trails.
Meet at the Ferris Wheel/Big Wheel at 7.30pm. Parking is available on the moor itself with access from Grandstand Rd and will cost £3. The Claremont Rd car park is free after 6pm and spaces can usually be found. The weather forecast for this week looks excellent! Anybody perhaps thinking of joining Cramlington Camera Club is more than welcome to join us and see what a friendly bunch we are, maybe pickup some tips or even win a goldfish!

Thursdays ‘walkabout’
The suggestion for Thursday evening is Penshaw Monument. DH4 7NJ. Anybody who fancies a wander please meet at the car park at 7.30pm. Please indicate if you intend to go so we have an idea of numbers. To try and get some more attractive lighting conditions on the poppies most people are intending to go early and arrive by 6.30pm. Obviously if you wish to arrive later that's fine.
The planned 'walkabout' for this Thursday is Aydon Castle near Corbridge, to view the beautiful poppy fields.
Please meet at the castle car park (NE45 5PJ). I understand parking is limited so car share if possible. As usual subject to a descent weather forecast. The 'Walkabout' this Thursday (7th June) will be North Shields Fish Quay. Anyone wishing to join us for a stroll around this iconic North East location please meet on the Fish Quay at 7.30pm. For your navigation devices NE30 1HF should do the trick.
