Cramlington Camera Club (here-after referred to as ‘the Club’) is established with the objects set out in its constitution and is a data controller within the UK. 

The personal information referred to in this Policy may include name, distinctions, contact details, affiliations, service records, records of entries to events, and such other information as may be necessary for the effective management of the legitimate interests of Cramlington Camera Club.  Any person wishing to verify the information held by the Club or who can correct or update that information, may apply to the Membership Secretary. Information can only be divulged to those with a legitimate claim to that information.
 
Information Collection
 
1...The Club collects and processes member’s information such as name, address, telephone number(s), email address, dates of membership, images submitted for competitions and events, competition scores and other information needed for Club activities.
 
2...The Club also keeps records of Member of the Committee, people offering their services to the Club (such as judges and lecturers) and prospective members, to help with the running of the Club.
 
3...For the participation in inter club events, the Club may need to share personal information to other camera clubs. Club members will be asked to confirm their acceptance of this in advance.
 
4...The Club will not share membership information with third parties for marketing (including electronic marketing).
 
5...Photographers are the creators of images used in the activities of the Club.  This information is managed subject to the General Conditions for Club Competition Events. Further details are available on the Club web site.

6...The Club may send members information that complies with the objectives of the Club and may be of interest to it's members.
 
 
Data Retention
 
a...The Club may retain historical archives indefinitely, for example but not limited to, photographic images, records of meetings, awards and other event results.
 
b...A member or past member may request the Club to have their personal data, including images, deleted from the Club’s records.
