This Thursday (13th) is a members night where we will have the chance to hone the skills on high and low key lighting techniques kindly taught to us last Thursday by Simon Drew of 'Loud & Flashy' studios of Ashington.
We will have 4 models available to shoot. Two 'Vikings' one male and one female plus 2 other female models, with multi light setups and backdrops. So bring your cameras along. First of all a Very Happy New Year to all our members and families.
As there is no significant change to the Covid restrictions the first meeting of 2022 will commence as planned this Thursday (6th). There is however, a change to the program for this meeting. As I'm sure you're all aware Natalie is still recovering from a severe bout of Covid which unfortunately has meant she is still not yet well enough to join us at the club to give her presentation. We have however, Simon from the 'Load & Flashy Studio' in Ashington who is coming to give a 'hands on' tutorial in high/low key lighting. A subject we will be able test our skills on the following week (13th) on our 'Members Night'. Simon is very kindly making no charge for his services but has requested a donation be made to the 'Guide Dogs'. A request with which are most happy to accept. A donation box will be available on the night for any members wishing to make a personal contribution. As this is a 'hands on' tutorial please bring your cameras along. |
