Thursday 24th August.
Club outing to Derek Curtis and his Birds Of Prey. Derek and his team of volunteers made us very welcome and gave us lots of information about their birds. For the first 15 minutes we had a look at all the birds on their perches and took photographs of them there.. We were given access to all the birds apart from a breeding pair. Derek and his team then set the birds in trees and on natural perches for us to photograph. This was followed with a flying display and those with faster cameras than me got some great images. A great evening, thanks to Bob Finlay, Paul Kidd,Janet Leadbitter, Bill Leadbitter,Pop & John Brannon, David Johnson,John Burn, Adam Burness, Peter Moody, Terry Cookson, who came along.
