For those travelling to Edinburgh on Sunday August 4th for the full day trip to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, instructions are as follows.
The coach (Henry Cooper) will be leaving Smithy Square in Cramlington Village at 8am prompt. The drop off in Edinburgh will be as close to Waverley Station as possible. The coach will leave Edinburgh at 4pm prompt. There are still places available on the coach if anyone would like to bring a friend. Just contact myself or Colin Livingstone. Please meet at Saltwell Park Car Park via Joicey Rd NE9 5AT at 715pm.
This Thursday evenings 'walkabout' is Newcastle City Centre. Please meet at Civic Centre Car Park at 7.15pm.
This Thursday evenings walk will be South Shields. Please meet at Littlehaven Car Park at 7.15pm.
The venue for tomorrow evening is The Fish Quay at North Shields. Please meet at the Low Lights Car Park NE30 1JA at 7.15pm.
With regard to this Sunday’s full day outing we have had several suggestions. Keswick area, Bowness & Windermere and although not strictly Lake District, Malham Cove & Tarn. This can be done as a very picturesque circular walk of approx 7 miles. This is the preference. Obviously if several members want to do other locations then they, of course can.
For those wishing to do Malham it's a 2.5 hour drive so an early start is required (7am). Meeting at Malham at the Malham National Park Centre BD23 4DA. |
