This Thursday we will see the results of the 3rd Open Print Competition judged by David Hall.

This Thursday is members night. Members will again have the opportunity to use their skills with the club's studio lighting, backdrops and 2 live models.

Our models for the evening, one male, one female are Amy Lee and Nathan Honess so don't forget to bring your cameras and enjoy a great evenings shooting.

The results of the 4 Way Interclub PDI Competition held via Zoom on Tuesday evening (8th) and judged by Dave Phillips are shown below.

This Thursday (10th February) our guest is Peter Robinson (Eye of the Tyne Photography). Peter is a local photographer who learned his profession in the RAF. Peter, who has guested for us before is among other things, a renowned and award winning wedding photographer and we are delighted to welcome him back.

3rd February 2022

The results of the 3rd PDI were presented tonight by judge Dave Phillips.
There were 43 images from a very wide range of subject material and some really super shots to review. Dave provided very constructive feedback, particularly from the photographer’s perspective understanding that at times the situation that the photographer was presented with was not perfect and they had to deal with what they had in front of them. 

Congratulations to Alec Cowley, not only for winning the competition but also gaining a full house of third place and a highly commended. Very well done indeed. 
Also mentioned in dispatches should be Paul Kidd with second place and a Highly Commended.

Thanks to all the members who submitted images and to Dave for judging that provided excellent feedback which made for a very enjoyable evening.
