We recently received the sad news that George Holland of South Shields PS had sadly passed away.
For anyone wishing to pay their last respects to George his funeral will take place on Wednesday 5th September at 2.30pm at Birtley Crematorium, High St, Birtley. There will be no wake after the funeral.

This Thursday's 'walkabout' is Whitley Bay. Please meet in front of the Spanish City at 7.30pm.
Anyone who wishes to say their last farewell to David, please meet at West Road crematorium on Tuesday 21st August at 10.30am, and afterwards at 'The Denton' on the West Road for buffet.
Donations for cancer research would be preferred in lieu of flowers. Today we received the very sad news that Cramlington Camera Club member David Johnson had passed away.
David was a relatively new member to the club but had participated fully in it, even conducting a teaching session on 'light painting' which was very well received and enjoyed by the members. David will be greatly missed and I'm sure we would all like to pass on our sincere condolences to David's family. For those wishing to pay their last respects funeral arrangements will be posted here when known. The planned 'walkabout' for this Thursday is a trip to Sycamore Gap on Hadrians Wall to perhaps catch a sunset.
