'Through Two Cameras'.  Keith & Olive Robertson.

Last night guest speakers put on a great show.  The Robertson's travel extensively and this was shown in the wide variety of locations of our world, from Cuba to Australia and from our own Lakeland national Park to Yellowstone National Park in the US.
 
Through two cameras depicted the very different interpretation of our guest's views.  From Keith's street life in Havana to Olive's portraits of the children, semi derelict churches on the prairie.  A selection of shots from Tanfield, Koalas in Australia, geysers in Yellowstone, lakesides and even a motorcycle and sidecar.  Both had been together but showed totally different work.
 
 Keith's photography developed from the background of sports for the Morpeth Herald, whilst Olive came to Photography later when she retired.  In her own words, learning as we go, and experimenting in many aspects of work.  Their method of presentation is interesting as they show three images together with anecdotes to tell the story of their travels. Taking turns and often interrupting each other get the location just right.  All with good humoured banter.
 
I for one thoroughly enjoyed the show and judging by the laughter and applause so did the rest of the members.
 
Keith and Olive spent a few minutes answering questions and then we thanked for their time and entertainment.
