Tonight Gateshead Camera Club hosted the Second leg of the 4 Way competition.
The judge was Stephen Fowler of Ryton & District Camera Club. He started by informing us that his style of judging was to give a wide variation of scores, and true to his word there were some surprises. Everything from 18 – 30.
He actually gave four images 30 points, Mallard in Flight, Gosforth. Joey, Cramlington. January Dawn at Cullercoats, Gateshead and Too close for Comfort, Gosforth.
Stephen’s critique was fair although some images which were given high praise scored low!
As the competition moved on we were joint first with Gosforth at the 7th image on 222 points but sadly Gosforth stole the lead with the final image.
